pain after pain

a weeping that feels like its forever

pain after pain

an attack that gives you no break
forces joined only to weigh you down
Like Christ carrying His cross out of obedience
you soldier on and endure with hope that joy will come in the morning
The sun sets as your strength starts to wear off
as you have carried heavy burdens one after the other muscles begin to ache
the body wants to give in to the exhaustion of the heavy pile up from the burden that grows
encouragement from hope continues to play its role with whispers that joy will come in the morning

but oh when will that be?

will it even come at all?

restlessness takes over as you sit up to watch the night pass over

waiting for the sun to come up that you may embrace the joy you have awaited
like a groom waiting for his bride that never showed in the alter you are disappointed
along with disappointment comes more pain to add on to the unwanted burden
the ugly feeling of giving up starts to create thoughts of a dark nature as a solution
the terrible family of death as cousins named suicide, self infliction and depression fill your thoughts

just quit and die they chant

its not worth living they chant

The light that lives inside you tells you to have faith and hold on a little longer
The light is so small, it got smaller by the day when you got disappointed over and over
Pain was inflicted in your insides and now they are so bruised in a way that all you see are scars
In the midst of that bad picture in your mind

inflicted mind is all you have
inflicted mind is all you have

In the midst of that bad picture in your mind that small light  shows you the path to which your broken feet should follow
Arms stiff from carrying endless heavy burdens continue to endure as they ache beyond endurance, you pull yourself towards the direction shown
There you see a pair of hands waiting to relieve you of your burden
The burden is removed from you and tossed to another bigger pile of pain.

Pile of pain lifted off
pile of pain lifted off

One touch is all it takes for this pair of hand to ease you of all the pains in your body
Its as though you had never suffered
Your body is renewed and a new strength is found within
He holds you in a comforting embrace and tells you, i've already paid for this pains
Bring all your burdens to me, I will gladly relieve you of them
I love you and you are mine
I will always be there for you
Never suffer anything on your own because I have paid for all your sufferings on the cross
Carry no burdens no more, lay them at my feet and acknowledge your authority that I carry in you.
You are free, I liberated you, live like it cos Satan has no hold on you
