SOMEONE ANGELIC ON EARTH


 Thandi and John Lesedi have been married for 5years and they've just found out Thandi is pregnant. They sat on a couch cuddling and john was busy rubbing on the belly with his other arm around her shoulder and her head on his chest. On tv the show SA's got talent was playing and a lady called Nollie was singing, the moment she stopped singing Thandi felt movement in her belly and John confirmed it because he had his hand on the belly the whole time. 

They shared a moment in a kiss and re-winded the performance on tv, the movement in the tummy stopped and as soon as it ended, movement began again. From that day onwards when there would be music or singing, the baby would be still and the moment it ended the baby would start moving. This made Thandi resort to singing and the only time she would have peace was wen her baby was still and she was singing. 

Months passed by and 3 days before the baby was due Thandi started having complications and John took her to hospital and the doctors found she is having early contractions and the baby would be due sooner than expected. DR Smith sent in nurses to always be on watch over Thandi, two days went by and she was still in pain but the baby was still not coming out. A nurse called kim had a DSTV drifter with her and she happened to have it on while waiting on Thandi's baby. 

Playing was SA's got talent and Nollie came on again, the moment she started singing Thandi's contractions got stronger and everyone stood up, kim switched off the drifter and Thandi's baby also remained still, Kim put on the drifter again and at the voice of Nollie's singing, Thandi gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and named her after Nollie. John only went to the hospital around11pm and that's when he was told the baby's name. 

That night they took their baby home and called suzie who is John's mother to come help thandi with taking care of the baby. It was a happy night and they all went to bed. The following morning Suzie woke up at 5am and made John some breakfast before he went to work and they had a conversation: 

Suzie: I see your lazy wife is still in bed sleeping, look at you, you have lost weight, its clear that this woman is not taking good care of you. 

John: mom please, don't just start you know she is exhausted cos she just gave birth, she deserves to rest. 

Suzie: you always take her side, I dont know what you see in this witch. 

John: I have warned you time and again to respect my wife but you never do, that's why we cut you out of our lives, because of your behavior towards my wife. Look here, she is my wife and I love her, nothing will ever change that, not even you! I've lost my appetite, I'm gonna go to work and you dare not give her a tough time, any complains when I come bk and you will be going back to your place tonight! 

Suzie: But son.... 

John: no buts, you've heard what I said! 

At that he left and suzie started to cry, she thought to herself that Thandi has taken her son from her and she wants the love John has for Thandi for herself, at those thoughts, she walked into Thandi's room and took the baby from her bed. 

She went into the room she was sleeping in and started to call upon the spirits she worshiped which she explains to have inherited from her ancestors, as she began to chant in dedication of the baby to the spirits, an angel appeared and wrapped baby Nollie in protection, when the spirits stretched out their hands to touch the baby, a strong force pushed them away and the dedication failed. 

Suzie then took out some herbs to cleanse the child as she believed the child to be an outcast. Thandi woke up and realized her baby is nowhere to be found, she got off bed and went into the room where her mother in law was busy burning incense and snatched her baby away, they argued and Thandi started to pray for her baby, upon every utterance of the name Jesus Suzie was getting very angry, she snatched the baby and pushed Thandi off the stairs then locked her below the basement. 

An angel made a call to John at work and when he answered all he heard was a scream, he rushed out of the office and drove home. Upon his arrival he found his mother cooking a storm of herbs, the baby naked on the table and a bang coming from the door in the basement. He ran down the basement stairs and opened the door only to find his wife bleeding excessively and with a broken leg, he carried her to the lounge and called an ambulance. 

His mother was bust screaming "john I didn't do it, she is going to lie against me, I was just trying to protect the baby, please just leave her there to die, she is trying to come between us, this is our big break John, we can finally be happy together, you, me and the baby". 

John grabbed the naked baby whose body was covered in oil and powder, and pushed his mother into a room which he locked. The ambulance arrived and both mother and baby were taken 2 hospital. John had a confrontation with his mother and then kicked her out and told her never to come anywhere near him and his family again. Suzie left back to her house.
