Mysteries begin
It was a lovely Monday when Munangwa decided to take a walk, she met a guy called Chidzima. Chidzima was a handsome guy with brown eyes, light skinned, tall and handsome, he was also a Christian but it was believed that his father was the greatest witchdoctor of the township and everybody feared him.
Every girl in the township was charmed by his looks and desired to know him better. Chidzima was a loner and he never spoke to anyone, he acted like nobody existed in his world and he lived alone. Other guys would say nasty remarks about him or or tease him about his fathers witchcraft. As a defense mechanism Chidzima decided to isolate himself from everybody and remained without friends.
This was his life until he met Munangwa, he looked at her and felt a very strong attraction towards her, his knees felt weak and his eyesight went blurry, his legs were stuck in the same spot where he stood, just looking at her walk until he decided to say something.
Munangwa’s POV
As I walked down my street busy wondering around, I heard birds chirping and tweeting melodically, I loved the sound of birds, it made me smile. Just as I was about to take another step, I felt a strong presence, my heart skipped three bits in a row as I couldn't comprehend what was happening around me. I stopped and stood in one place, I felt a force pulling me to look to a specific direction.
A deep voice said my name, it sounded too imaginary and perfect that it game me goose bumps on my arms. This made me terrified to look at the owner of the voice, my mind told me, if his voice alone can do that to me then what more if I saw him. I shivered as I procrastinated whether to look at him or walk away. He spoke again, this time he did not just say my name, but he also asked if he could walk with me to where ever I was going.
I hesitated before I nodded my head, I heard his footsteps walk towards me and the closer he got my body felt really funny, I didn’t understand what was happening to me, I still hadn’t looked at him and when he got very close, I inhaled his fragrance and my word, it was like nothing I had ever smelled before, an annoying weakness crept into me and I felt dizzy instantly, I felt myself zone out...........
Munangwa Munangwa, I heard the same voice call me, I opened my eyes and I was sleeping on a mat in a foreign room, I looked around and I saw a light figure before I passed out again, the last thing I heard was, do not worry, she will be okay.
MEANWHILE
Musuku was praying the same day when she started feeling everything that Munangwa was going through, she started to see visions in the spiritual realm and there she saw her friend fighting an animal which had a mask on, what did not make sense was the fact that the animal was attacking and her friend was only concerned about removing the mask and not fighting back, the animal was weakening her friend by the minute, she then intervened in prayer to save her friend’s life as she could feel her fading away, she saw a charm fall off the animal and all of a sudden the animal had compassion on Munangwa, he was reaching his hand out and trying to remove the mask with the other hand but it was strongly stuck on his face as a result he ended up passing out.
After the vision, Musuku immediately ran to Munangwa's house, she was so concerned that she wasn’t even minding cars on the way, she ran until her feet hurt and she just kept going. She got to her friend’s house and walked in without knocking. She found her friend passed out on the floor and her friend's mother crying and praying for her child.
She knelt besides her friend and held her hand, she kissed her forehead and stood up to go get a bucket with warm water and a towel, she dipped the towel in the warm water and put it on her friend’s forehead, she then asked her mother to help her carry her friend to her room. They walked out to go sit by the TV room and Musuku asked, what happened?
